Liza Portnova
Ielizaveta Portnova was born on November 28, 1981 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Since childhood, she attended art school, and later in 2002 she received a bachelor's degree in the specialty of Ceramics Artist at the Kiev Industrial Technical School.
Artist has been a member of the International Academy
of Ceramics (IAC) since 2019 and a member of the
National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2015. Her
career includes many international exhibitions,
competitions and art residencies.
Currently, the artist is in France under temporary
protection status due to the war in Ukraine.
In the present conditions of absence of a permanent
residence, the artist still finds the strength to create new
objects and take part in the international cultural life of
ceramic art.
